Why Module X Floor: one app, not more platforms
We don’t need more software platforms. Module X Floor is one host-neutral app that replaces Scanco on the floor and connects to Sage 100, so supervisors stop juggling five tools.
- Sage 100 stays the books and ERP of record.
- The floor runs in Module X: labor, badges, yard, kiosk, inventory and reorder, and shift handoff.
- Sage and APS plug in as connectors when they’re ready. One app for the floor, not another platform to manage.
Easier path: one app the floor uses, everything else connected.
| Role | What they get |
|---|
| Floor crew | Register, tasks, attendance |
| Leads | Crew cycle, task bars, reassignment |
| Supervisors | Yard view, idle/timeout flags, unit moves |
| Admin | Admin: roles, gates, schedules, org chart |
| Accounting | Job cost, WIP, inventory, reorder, BOM |
| Leadership | Unit dashboard, Floor Angel answers |
Hub (maxegibson.com/app) → Module X Floor · Supervisor yard · Menu Kiosk · Module X Floor Admin → Accounting + Inventory. One API on Cloudflare Workers. Dual IDs: badge barcode (e.g. 400002479) + APS number (e.g. 1647351).
| Feature | What it does | Status |
|---|
| Supervisor task list | One list of what each supervisor is working on: people issues, reviews, coaching, corrective actions, statements, drawings, material and floor issues. | Planned |
| People / issues clock-in | Supervisors clock onto a people or floor issue like a task, so time spent is captured, not guessed. | Planned |
| Tier 1 / Tier 2 meetings + team attendance | Log Tier 1/Tier 2 meetings and take team attendance in one tap. | Planned |
| Kiosk / unit walk scans | Scan the kiosk or unit QR on a walk — proves the floor was walked and when. | Planned |
| Management dashboard | Shows management what every supervisor is working on and how hard: open items, time per category, walks, meetings, attendance. | Planned |
| Manager dashboard + leaderboards | Ops view above supervisors: all shifts/departments, supervisor and crew rankings, handoff success, attendance, throughput, QC pass/fail checks with alerts, safety TRIR (Total Recordable Incident Rate), and Kaizens (improvement ideas submitted vs completed). | Planned |
| Executive dashboard + leaderboards | High-level KPIs and rankings across projects and departments: throughput, labor cost, on-time units, QC pass rate with alerts, safety TRIR (Total Recordable Incident Rate), and Kaizens (improvement ideas submitted vs completed). | Planned |
| Product acceptance testing | QA / acceptance tests on each finished product or unit before ship or hand-off: checklist, pass/fail, sign-off, and failures fed to QC alerts on the Manager/Executive dashboards. | Planned (future) |
| Supervisor shift handoff | Outgoing supervisor hands the next shift (day ↔ night; 6 day + 4 night supervisors) a single handoff packet. | Planned |
| Handoff packet contents | Open issues, people notes, materials, drawings, meetings, attendance flags, time-on-task clocks, unit status. | Planned |
| Incoming acknowledgement | Incoming supervisor reviews and confirms receipt; unacknowledged items stay flagged. | Planned |
| Handoff success dashboard | Management + yard dashboards show each shift handoff: ✅ acknowledged vs ⚠️ not addressed / missed, by supervisor and shift. | Planned |
| Master planner interface | One place for the schedule across units/projects, materials demand, capacity, and shift handoff visibility. | Planned |
| Feature | What it does | Status |
|---|
| Job cost / WIP | Live labor + material cost per unit | Live (pilot, in-memory) |
| Inventory | Locations, bins, quantities | Live (pilot, in-memory) |
| Reorder | Min/max, reorder point, suggested PO | Live (pilot, in-memory) |
| Multi-level BOM | Subassemblies, revisions, backflush | Live (pilot, in-memory) |
| Scanco-grade scanning | Scanning built in | Planned |
| Accounting depth | GL-ready job cost, WIP, COGS, variance — Sage-or-better | In build |
| Audit trail | Every record change is logged with who, when and why; corrections need a reason; soft delete with restore. | Live (pilot, in-memory) |
| Autodesk Vault ↔ warehouse part link | Links Autodesk Vault part numbers (CAD/docs) to warehouse inventory SKUs so one Vault part = one warehouse SKU across projects; feeds the common-part reorder rollup. | Planned |
| Feature | What it does | Status |
|---|
| Workload time tracking | Workload tab clocks supervisor time spent on people, issues, and tasks (like a task clock). | On Origin main (not yet confirmed on CF) |
| Security watchdog | Monitors access/security events with accuracy log. | On Origin main (not yet confirmed on CF) |
| Conversational floor assistant | Chat-driven CRM over floor data. | Planned |
| Common-part demand rollup | One SKU across projects: schedule demand − on-hand − on-order + lead time → buy qty + date alert. | Planned |
Two-way: pull from Sage 100 / Scanco and push back, so nothing is retyped during transition or long-term.
